Mr.Richard Williams, Ph.D.,  is a seasoned (Bio)Pharmaceutical Manager with 30 years experience covering areas of Pharmaceutical Development, Manufacturing Technical Services, QC Labs, Quality process reengineering and IT solution development, delivery and support. Over the past 10 years, under his leadership, he established and supported the Manufacturing IT / Automation functions at Lilly’s Manufacturing plants in Latin / South America, Middle East and Asia-Pacific. Currently within Lilly’s Global Laboratory informatics organisation, he has had responsibility for the Global LIMS and Environmental Monitoring systems, recently leading the global delivery of MODA-EM™

Mr Robert Lutskus was a Quality Control microbiologist for 10 years in pharma before transitioning to the laboratory informatics space.  He has run and supported implementations and validations of software at numerous organizations globally and now heads the delivery team for the MODA EM solution. 

Abstract

With a focus on data integrity and workflow efficiency, a connected workflow that touched multiple systems was the desired outcome.  This would enable data to flow seamlessly from the batch scheduling system to trigger environmental monitoring to occur, then sending data back out for excursions and organism identification.
