I’m a Software Business Development professional at Mettler-Toledo, where I’ve been working for 15 years. My journey with the company started as a Development Engineer for high-resolution load cells, which gave me a deep understanding of the technical aspects of our products. 10 years ago, I became a Product Manager and gained valuable experience in managing global product portfolios for the laboratory balance business unit. Currently, I’m responsible for driving the growth of Mettler-Toledo’s digitalization solutions in the Swiss market. I’m passionate about keeping up with the latest digitization technologies to ensure we provide professional and sustainable solutions to our customers.
Kevin Kölliker
EMEA Lab Informatics Pre-Sales Application Engineer
Kevin Kölliker is a Lab Informatics Application Engineer for Agilent Technologies. He studied Chemistry and Business informatics, and he worked as a Lab Technician, and as a Field Service Engineer before joining Agilent. Combined he has more than 10 Years of Experience in the analytical laboratory and therefore met already multiple different workflows. He works together with the Lab Informatics Product Specialists to demonstrate the Power of OpenLab, and to customize it to meet the needs of our Customers.
Nicole Moberg
Chief Executive Officer
Nicole Moberg is a Chief Executive Officer in Life Sciences with Genesis Reference Laboratories (GRL). GRL is a laboratory dedicated to providing superior lab testing with an excellent customer experience, to support better patient outcomes.
A native of Prince Edward Island, Canada, Nicole graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a Master in Change Management and joined the UCF faculty team where she taught business for over 10 years.
Nicole has a demonstrated history in various leadership roles in healthcare, most recently as CEO at Genesis, as Chief Operating Officer with Thrive Senior Living, and prior to that, Chief Sales Officer in biotech where she led a team through a restructure, several expansions, and was instrumental in new product launches.

Stefano D’Ascoli is the founder and CEO of Eusoft, a company specializing in laboratory information management systems (LIMS) software. With over 25 years of experience in the industry, Stefano has led Eusoft to become the first and only Italian provider of cloud-based LIMS.Thanks to his entrepreneurial vision and passion for innovation, Stefano has made Eusoft a reference point in the LIMS industry.
Prashant Vaidyanathan
Group Lead for Data Architecture
Prashant Vaidyanathan is a quality and innovation-led viral vector CDMO, where he is responsible for creating an ecosystem to facilitate FAIR data across the entire organisation by implementing next-generation digital platforms. Prashant’s work and research lie at the interface of computer science, design automation, data standardisation, and biology. Prashant’s career has spanned various interdisciplinary academic and industrial environments, encompassing both research and software development roles. His contributions have led to publications in prestigious journals and conferences such as Science and Proceedings of IEEE.
Tamara McKenna
Director Global Scientific LIMS Strategy and Business Development
Tamara graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, from the University of Witwatersrand. After graduating, she spent some time working as a process metallurgist for a Mining Research and Technology business before moving into the LIMS industry. She has behind her more than 22h years’ experience in the laboratory information technology and services industry, where she held positions in Services, Sales & Strategic Accounts Management. Tamara joined Clinisys in May 2023 and is now the Director of Global Scientific LIMS Strategy and Business Development.

Quality Director
Marie Jorna is a Quality Director for MSD. Mrs Jorna leads the Data Integrity program for MSD Animal Health to ensure that GMP data meet the ALCOA principles. She is involved in digitalization projects to standardize and improve quality processes.
She’s spent more than 20 years in Pharma and Health Care in various Quality Assurance and Quality Control roles.
She holds a Master degree on Bioproduct Quality Engineering, a Master degree on Management. She is currently finishing an Executive Master on Innovation and New technology.
Thomas Gerber

Thomas is a seasoned lab professional with a diverse background in various roles within life science laboratories. Passionate about driving innovation, he has successfully navigated roles such as Head of QC Chemistry at Jansen Vaccines-Crucell, Head of Laboratory at Diabetes Center Berne, and Senior Lab Management Consultant at Meocon with the implementation of several LeanLab programs. Christine has extensive experience in leading different teams and extensive experience in analytics and quality control (also as an auditor and consultant). Christine has also experience in quality assurance, regulatory affairs and project management. Actually, she is Head of global QC Network Management (Human Pharma) at Boehringer Ingelheim.
Reinhard Felsberg
former Site analytical leader – production labs
Reinhard has study Chemistry and received his PhD in Metalorganic and Inorganic Chemistry from Leipzig University. Reinhard brings more than 20 years of experience at Dow Chemical, as analytical chemist in production labs, work process specialist and lately as site analytical leader responsible for large production labs. he also has worked in Lab Automation for several years implementing LIMS solutions.
Silvia Primon
QC Manager
Silvia has a degree in Chemistry from the University of Padua, Italy. She has more than 20 years of experience in quality control laboratories. 15 years at GSK and currently working as QC Manager at Zeta Farmaceutici. Silvia has a passion for soft skills and applying them to the technical aspects of her role. She is completing a course in Business Management and has given several courses on laboratory topics.
Burkhard Schaefer
SiLA Board Member, AnIML Task Group Lead
Burkhard Schaefer has been active in the lab informatics community for over 25 years. He is a member of the SiLA Board of Directors and leads the AnIML Task Group at ASTM, and SLAS Fellow. Burkhard earned his computer science diploma at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany, and the University of New Mexico. Burkhard held various positions in data management organizations at Los Alamos National Laboratory, NIST, co-founder of BSSN Software, head of core technologies and partnering at MilliporeSigma, and now managing director of Splashlake.

Gabriele Magaro’ is a Solutions Engineer at Sapio Sciences, helping Scientists streamline their workflows. Over the last 6 years he has been using his extensive experience gained in the lab within Drug Discovery programs to support organizations in getting more value out of their data and obtain results faster. Gabriele holds a master’s degree in Chemistry from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” and has built up more than a decade of experience in Drug Discovery programs in CNS, inflammation and infectious diseases.

Domenico Palumberi

Domenico Palumberi holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine and has an impressive academic and professional background. After completing his Ph.D., he gained valuable postdoctoral experience at renowned institutions like the IIT in Italy, Columbia University in New York, and the Karolinska Institute. Since several years working on Digitization for Life Science, he has been working at Dassault Systems and Benchling, showcasing a versatile skill set. Currently, he serves as the Digital Operations Leader at the Parma site of GSK, where he is responsible for Digital and Robotic solutions.

Bob has been involved with the automation of laboratories since 1980 and has over 35 years experience of validation of computerized systems and is the author of a book on the validation of chromatography data systems. Andreas Steinle

Andy Steinle has worked in several roles with increasing responsibility and complexity for the development and implementation of digital strategies and systems at Roche (incl. roadmaps and project portfolio) since 2005.
His current responsibility in Technical Development at Roche includes global Product Ownership for Device Integration and Strategic Workforce Planning for the future. In his role in Germany he is responsible for the whole Technical Development and Gene Therapy system and platform landscape.
