Jan-Marten Buch is the Head of Key Accounts at Labforward supporting Labforwards biggest pharmaceutical clients with evaluating and implementing digital laboratory solutions in R&D and GMP regulated QC. He studied industrial engineering and has over 7 years of experience with the Internet of Lab Things. Jan supported building up the company since 2015 and is the expert for Labforwards LES Software “Laboperator”.
Alessio Tremolada
Laboratory Global Process Owner
Alessio´job experience started in the laboratories where he liked to execute and innovate the analytical chemistry processes. He spent more than 20 years in SGS moving from lab technician, to manager for the Environmental laboratory business in Italy, to global technical manager for the same division, adding also the responsibility of business IT manager. When SGS started one of the most important IT program for the company, named “Digital Laboratory” Alessio had the role of Global Process Owner for the about 1000 laboratories operating many sectors. In this role he manages the team that is responsible to standardize the digital processes in the lab for achieving the best efficiency, to oversee the IT products development to ensure that they satisfy the user requirements and to collaborate with IT delivery and Rollout managers to reach the company objectives in the program.
Toni Manzano
CSO and co-founder
Since 1996 I’ve managed software projects for international pharma industries along all the supply chain process (R+D, clinical phase, manufacturing, quality, equipments, warehousing and logistics), projects to implement the 3 ICH (Q8, Q9 and Q10) and I was also involved in audits and validation tasks . I’m Master in Information and Knowledge Society and Postgraduate in Quality Systems in Industry and Pharmaceutical Research.
Miguel Alvariño Gil
Manager Quality OpEx
My education started off by studying chemistry, followed by a PhD in bioinorganic chemistry. Entered the pharma industry in the Quality Control department at Takeda in Ireland, changed over to Lonza in Switzerland where I started in the Quality Control department. After a year at Paxvax leading the QA Release activities I re-joined Lonza and I was during three years in charge of the digitalization of QC activities at Lonza Visp. During the last two years I have worked on automating/robotizing different QC lab activities. I also finished back in 2017 an MBA in general management.
Sergio Nasi
Head of Global Laboratory Execution
Sergio has been in the laboratory informatics business since year 2000 and worked predominantly in the Laboratory Information Management Systems domain ever since, in several companies and under various roles: developer, consultant, business analyst, project manager and team lead. Having a passion for cats and technology, Sergio thinks that an innovation-driven pharmaceutical corporation and top player in the Animal Health business just seems the right place to be.

Daniel Juchli
Head of Lab & Research Informatics
With over 20 years of professional experience in both chemistry and Informatics, Daniel speaks both the language of scientists and IT experts and can translate between the needs of users and the technical possibilities of IT systems.
Daniel is an expert in lab digitalization and leading projects for the selection, deployment or development of laboratory automation and IT solutions in life sciences environments.
Joining SiLA in 2014 as a representative of SiLA’s Supporting Member for wega Informatik, he has played a major role in the development of the lab connectivity standard SiLA 2.

Frederik has over 25 years of experience in lab systems, including program managing major LIMS roll-outs at various global enterprises.
When he joined Bluecrux in 2017, his expertise and business development skills significantly boosted the commercial success of Binocs.
Robert Lutskus
Associate Director Commercial Operations
Rob was a Quality Control microbiologist for 10 years in pharma before transitioning to the laboratory informatics space. He has run and supported implementations and validations of software at numerous organizations globally and now heads the delivery team for the MODA EM solution.
Pier Luigi Agazzi
Partner and Computer Validation Consultant
Graduated in Electronic Engineer (Master) in 1985, he attended some courses about AI at MIT in Boston and also a Master in Business Administration (MBA) at Politecnico di Milano.
From 1985 to 2000, he worked as an automation and process instrumentation engineer for chemical and pharmaceutical plants in international environments.
Since 2000, he is a Computerized System Validation Engineer and partner of Adeodata.
He took part in several 21 CFR Part 11 compliance assessment and gaps remediation plans for production and QC departments, working with ERP (SAP) and Electronic Batch Record Systems. He is also involved in several Data Integrity assessments.
He is an expert trainer and auditor specialized in computerized systems validation and Data Integrity compliance.
Since 1992, he’s an active member of GAMP Italia group and ISPE.
