The Paperless Lab Academy is an essential networking event for all involved in the automation of laboratories. I found it a great way to connect with others facing the same decisions and operational issues as me – and of course, learning how other industries dealt with them. Having easy access to the major vendors also helped enormously in laying out our Digital roadmap. I would thoroughly recommend this event.

Thank you for this well organised PLA2023Europe event. Not only the location which is gorgeous also the atmosphere during PLA was helping us as vendor to create new relations with other companies and for sure also with prospects. The professional setup and the relaxed atmosphere helped us a lot to stay focused on knowledge transfer instead of just product selling and kept all attendees very open minded.

As digital project manager, responsible for lab areas, I came to the Paperless Lab Academy® 2023 at Baveno, Italy. It was a real opportunity to meet some of the key players in the Lab Informatic market via “Town hall” presentations, workshops and informal discussions. This gave me interesting and important insight for my job in next month/years. I recommend it to any IT/digital leader that want to increase his/her knowledge of the digital lab market and available technologies.

Coming from outside the Laboratory area I found the Paperless Lab Academy conference to be very informative and by listening to the various speakers both Industry and Vendors. I gained a good insight into where Laboratory systems are going system-wise and gained an understanding of the challenges they face in the current environment.

The Paperless Lab Academy^® remains an important platform for exchange and sharing for us and we will do our best to maintain Danone’s involvement in the 2021 agenda. Actually, we are also very interrested by the webinars being organised this summer.

The PLA2018 reinstated that Automation and Digitalization of Laboratory processes & workflows are at the forefront of innovation in the laboratory realm.

The conference, expertly organized in a pleasing venue, provided a great blend of plenary sessions and interactive workshops, along with good networking opportunities to interact with industry peers and solution providers. We hold the overall level of the presentations to the highest standard, having enjoyed the contributions from thought leaders, fellow peers from the pharmaceutical industry and other areas of expertise.

We spent 2 interesting days professionally speaking and very pleasant thanks to the organisation, company and location.

This is a fascinating conference with a strong focus on Research Data Management and different strategies to not only go paperless in the lab, but also how to best organise one’s data. There were a range of talks and workshops/demos including some on FAIR data and the use of semantic web technologies both in conjunction with AI and for interoperability purposes.

The Paperless Lab Academy has been a very interesting experience for me. I´ve learned on other markets´ initiatives which could potentially be of interest for my company´s journey. It has given me the opportunity to discuss further with the speakers to expand on my understanding. I am already looking for projects internally based on the learnings from the PLA. I can honestly say that I got a lot out of it.

The Paperless Lab Academy 2019 has been even more focused on data than before. Understanding FAIR data, leveraging ontologies, create and share knowledge are now part of most discussions and presentations. We are truly in the data era.
