In short, the discussions always revolve around digital data management. The PLA® conferences are about data, process technology, people and compliance.

The sessions will take place in three different formats: Plenary Sessions and Panel Discussions, Interactive Sponsored Workshops and Deep Dive Workshops (4 hour training format).

The objectives of FAIR data, first coined in the paper ‘The FAIR Guiding Principles for scientific data management and stewardship’, are to make scientific data: Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.
