Abstract

Today, companies are exploring big data strategies and at the same time discover facts they didn't know before. Budget constraints, sustainability objectives, faster developments of products and services are important objectives for companies.

This presentation will answer the question, how to adopt a holistic approach using (scientific) data and the importance of the interconnection of data. Do we understand how (scientific) data created in, for example, our laboratories influence other departments within originations? A Holistic approach should look at all individual systems as a whole. For example, how can critical process parameters and critical quality attributes result in a model for predictive process control.

This presentation will talk about the relatively widely discussed subject like “Big Data”, “The transformation of Data into Actionable Knowledge” as well as the use of data for operational purposes and strategic business decision making. Using advanced analytics, businesses can mine big data to understand the current state of the business and track still-evolving aspects such as customer behavior and perception.
