Overview
In this hands-on workshop, participants will explore the potential of artificial intelligence in next-generation research and development (R&D) laboratories. Through interactive discussions and collaborative exercises, we will examine the latest advancements in AI-powered lab informatics platforms, digital assistants for experiment design and scientific search, and AI-driven support tools that enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Participants will be tasked with developing three (3) practical business cases for AI implementation in their daily lab operations, with a focus on the following key areas:
Efficiency: Identifying opportunities to automate routine tasks, optimize data management, and improve lab throughput.
Effectiveness: Enhancing experiment planning, data analysis, and decision-making processes through intelligent systems and scientific search capabilities.
Quality: Leveraging AI to improve research results’ accuracy, reproducibility, and documentation.
By the end of this workshop, attendees will leave with usable AI business cases tailored to their specific R&D environments.
Who should benefit
R&D scientists, lab managers, informatics specialists, and innovation leaders looking to integrate AI into their laboratory workflows.
